Acon Digital • VOX Ducker in Acoustica Premium Edition 7.5 (Mac)

Dear Acon Digital Community,

As an Acoustica Premium Edition 7.5 and Apple/Mac user I need a helping hand with the following issue, and I hope somebody can resolve/clarify this for me:

I use Acoustica Premium Edition 7.5 for a new audio project, which combines (background) music and a (forefront) spoken voice, and I am testing out a VST3 plugin from UnitedPlugins called VOX Ducker, which basically decreases the background music when the voice audio kicks in, and increases the volume again from the background music when no voice audio is heard, (I believe this is also called "sidechaining") in a very modern and dynamic way, even if moving the audio forwards or backwards.
More info here:
https://unitedplugins.com/VoxDucker

I've watched some videos on this plugin, I've read both Acoustica's Manual and VOX Ducker's manual, and I can't get it to route properly inside Acoustica. I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong and that I'm hence missing a part of the process.

VOX Ducker's documentation simply states, see https://unitedplugins.com/VoxDucker/documentation:
Place VoxDucker on your backing track and route the voice into the plugin's sidechain input (see your DAW docs for routing). If several plugins on the backing tracks are used VoxDucker should be the last plugin in the chain.

The Acoustica Premium 7.5 User Guide has some information on Using Sends and the Auxiliary Bus as it states:
Multitrack sessions in Acoustica are automatically set up with an Auxiliary Bus (Aux). This makes it possible to route audio from each track for effects processing. The most common usage is to add reverberation on auxiliary bus. This reduces CPU usage since only one instance of the reverb processor is required and at the same time, it's possible to set the amount of reverb for each track using the Send knobs in each track pane.

The problem here is that, after adding the VOX Ducker VST plugin to my backing track, I'm unsure how to proceed to get VOX Ducker to work as per the instructions in their manual, as Acoustica's manual is pretty vague and does not help me forward, on how to properly set this up to route the audio within Acoustica to get VOX Ducker to work as it should. I’m aware something should be done via the AUX/Send bus, but i sadly have no idea how to do this to get it all to work properly.

IMPORTANT SIDENOTE:
- I'm not looking to use any other software or plugin, I tried the Auto Duck feature within Audacity, but it is a static ducking feature, which simply does not cut it for me and is very far away from what I want to achieve with Acoustica and VOX Ducker.
- I'm aware of the Ducking option within Apple's Logic Pro, but I'm not looking to use an expensive Audio Production Suite for just some Podcast voice mixdown work.

Any helpful reaction and/or step-by-step guide is welcome.

Kind regards and thanks in advance for your assistance,

Diego
