Instruments • Teletone Scarbo / Electro questions and alternatives

Hi! I was wondering if anyone here has Scarbo and if they still like it after it's been out for a while. I like the sound samples but I do notice that it seems to be sort of lacking some high end in all the patches. Was wondering if anyone else feels that way too. Tbh I don't really want a lot of motion and big modulation in what I'm looking for, but just want some really solid analog sounding patches, which these sorts of sample libraries seem to have more out of the box than even something like u-he synths to me. However it seems like I can probably get what I'm looking for with more work and processing with like repro-5, which I do own.

Do you think it's worth it still, with the relatively limited sound options you get from it? For the price it seems like I could probably pick up pigments used which obviously has a lot more sound options, so I'm not really sure.

Also I noticed that scarbo can be edited with the wrench tool in Kontakt unlike the other teletone libraries. How editable is it? Does this make it potentially a lot more expansive than other libraries?

Are there any alternatives that I should look at? One which I've heard to check out is Westwood's Lost Synth and I do like it, although I'm not sure if I'm missing out on the darker cool sounds that scarbo seems to have. There seems to be more sound design or patch making options with it. It's about $40+ more as well, considering I'm not sure if I can find any coupon codes for it at the moment.

Finally, I'm also considering Electro. Anyone has thoughts or comments on this? Thanks!
