I went back to Cubase (13.0.41) for a moment to use my library of .rx2 files, as that's how I've been using them for many years, and I've suddenly found myself unable to play them.
For 2 days, I previewed them fine in the mediabay, added them to my project, played them fine, and all was well. Then today, suddenly in the middle of a session I can no longer preview or drag/drop/import .rx2 into the arranger. The rex files already in the project... play back when I start transport. If I drag/drop, I get a "media unsupported" error.
I searched for a bit... and I found threads on steinberg, one of which points to KVR, where a dozen or so people have the same issue and I dont see any solution. I suddenly cant use a large .rx2 library! I have a few copies of the "REX shared library 64" dll, and they all seem to be in the right file system locations (in common\steinberg\shared components\ and also inside program files\steinberg\c13\components folders)
Has anyone been able to resolve this?? I see people giving up or saying they had to reinstall cubase, but the issue came back. Ohhh man I would love to see rx2 support in Bitwig natively....
